Arneis is a white grape variety from Piedmont. Although difficult to grow, due to which it was virtually extinct, Arneis is capable of producing interesting white wines showing stone fruit, pear and almond notes.
“Lightly fragrant nose of pear, white blossom and almond. Crisp, clean and zesty palate. Pretty, and well made, but a simple and undemanding floral white. Very appealing aperitif style with impressive regional character.”
