Editorial Guidlines
I’m looking to work with freelance wine writers from around the world of wine. I don’t have a huge budget to commission lots of stories, but I’m open to pitches. I am particularly interested in organising monthly contributions in a column format, so feel free to get in touch with your ideas.

What and how to pitch
Don’t spend ages crafting long pitches. A paragraph that summarises your idea will suffice and will give me an idea of whether it’s something I want to take forward. Rather than looking for industry news, I’m after writing that brings new insight on regions, appellations, producers and grape varieties. I’ll do my best to get to back to you with an answer, but if you don’t hear from me, please leave it two weeks before following up.

Rates
I’m trying to run a small business in a very challenging media landscape. Please email me your pitch first. I do not pay by the word, but rather agree a fee based on the value each piece brings to the business. As a journalist that still freelances for other publications, I understand the amount of unpaid labour that goes into trying to win work. As mentioned above, I’ll do my best to come back to you quickly and make the process of working me as easy as possible.

Press trips
I recognise that there are far more press trip opportunities than there are outlets to land a story. As such, I am open to discussing travel on behalf of Vinorandum. Please email us with the key information.
I’m always looking for good partners to collaborate with. In this media landscsape, every little helps. Please email the team for a media kit.
You can read about how to submit your wines here. Please read the sample policy though.
