“Straw yellow in colour, the Alois Pallagrello Bianco is a refined, polished wine. At times quite neutral on the nose, but a gentle floral characteristic lingers alongside faint brioche and vanilla, obtained from partial maturation in oak. The palate is rounded, almost creamy, exuding faint notes of banana and peach. Some mandarin in there too. With time in the glass these aromas become more expressive. There is a notable sense of alcohol on the finish. An interesting wine from a potentially very interesting grape variety.”
