Based in the Umbrian town of Torgiano, and with an estate in Montefalco, the Lungarotti family has worked tirelessly to put the region on the world wine map. Founded in 1950s Giorgio Lungarotti and continued today by his daughter Chiara, Lungarotti embraces both tradition and innovation, and is a benchmark name for the cultivation of Sangiovese and Sagrantino.
Tenute Baldo is a new project in Montefalco created in 2019 by Mattia Casini . It builds on the family’s existing agriculture business and aims to produce premium wines. With the help of a young technical team, Tenute Baldo is one of only two estates in the region to produce wine in both of Umbria’s DOCG territories.
