Alberic Bichot, current custodian of this well regarded Burgundian estate, presides over a family business that dates back to 1831 after it was established in the village of Beaune. Today the company includes Domaine Long-Depaquit in Chablis, Clos Frantin in the Côte de Nuits, Domaine du Pavillon in the Côte de Beaune and Domaine d’Adélie in the village of Mercurey. Wine labelled simply as Domaine Albert Bichot is made from purchased fruit. Christophe Chavel has been looking after the vineyards since 2000 and ensures that they are they are farmed sustainably.
