Conte Vistarino is an historic estate in Lombardy and the pioneer of Pinot Nero planted in Oltrepò Pavese DOC. Founded in 1850 by Count Augusto Giorgi di Vistarino, the winery has become one of the key players in the production of traditional method sparkling wines and key to the wine’s promotion to do DOCG status in 2007. Today the estate boasts 200 hectares of vineyard, of which 100 hectares are planted with Pinot Nero.
