Merlot (100%)
“Fresh blackberry, prune, and plum on the nose. Some beautifully defined Merlot character here, with the appellation’s classic medium bodied, plush texture. This is a subtle and elegant right bank expression with a lengthy and impressively balanced finish. Very faint wood influence compliments a foundation of forest fruits. Highly recommended for lovers of light and restrained claret.”

Merlot (70%)Cabernet Sauvignon (20%)Cabernet Franc (10%)
“Tasted with almost seven years of age to it, but still extremely fresh and attractive on the nose. Semi aged notes of black fruit compote have integrated well with gentle tones of chocolate, woodsmoke and vanilla. On the palate it’s impressive too. Structured, but soft and mature. Layers of concentrated black current fruit swim with prune, damson and chocolate. Still chewy and moreish with plenty of life in it. Really good wine from an often underrated area.”
