Château Musar

Bekaa Valley, Lebanon

Château Musar is by far the most important and most recognised producer in Lebanon. Under the stewardship of the great late Serge Hochar, Musar produced impressive red wines in the Bekaa Valley and that tradition continues today under the latest generation of the Hochar family.

“Ethereal bouquet. Delicately perfumed, dried herb and potpourri. Some brawny red fruit juxtaposed with earthy undertones. More tertiary aromas of dried rose petal, cedar, sweet spice. The palate is soft and moorish, but still well structured with life ahead of it. A delicious Musar in the classic style still drinking exceptionally well.”
94 Paul Caputo
