“Another great value Negroamaro wine. Lots of bramble fruit and underbrush on the nose. Wild blackberry, raspberry and a subtle note of blueberry set the tone. On the palate this is soft and round but freshened up with the variety’s typical acidity. Finishes with a little black pepper grip.”

“This is one of the unsung heroes of Salice Salentino. A classic nose pitching luscious black fruit alongside notes of balsam, liquorice and Mediterranean scrub. Traditional wood notes come through bringing with them suggestions of black pepper and clove. The palate is rustic, but loaded with sweet fruit compote and Christmas cake. Wonderfully complex. Lots going on. There is sweet spice, savoury barbecue smoke, rosemary, wild cherry. Strong, ‘classic’ finish.”
