The Felluga family have a long and prestigious history in the Collio area of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Marco Felluga graduated from the renowned oenology school in Conegliano and worked for his elder brother Livio for a while before Livio founded his own winery in Rosazzo. Marco stayed in the walled 15th-century fortress town of Gradisca d’Isonzo and founded his his own business in 1956. Today the winery is run by Ilaria Felluga.
Damijan Podversic is known for producing high quality low intervention expressions of Ribolla Gialla. Biodynamic viticulture is the guiding philosophy here, along with vinification and maturation in wood.
Covering 52 hectares of vineyard, Volpe Pasini lies to the north of Friuli. The estate is known for producing wines in the villages of Togliano and Prepotto, some of the best terroir in the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC.
