Olifants River WO

Olifants River is a large and geographically diverse region within the Wine of Origin system, located along the western edge of the Western Cape. Vineyards follow the course of the Olifants River and extend into inland valleys where irrigation makes grape growing possible in an otherwise dry landscape. The region produces a wide range of wines, with production ranging from large volume vineyards on the valley floor to smaller, cooler sites in higher elevation districts.
