Plettenberg Bay is a small coastal district within the Cape South Coast of the Wine of Origin system. Located along the Garden Route, the area is strongly influenced by the Indian Ocean, with cool maritime conditions that moderate temperatures and extend the growing season. Plettenberg Bay is particularly known for Cap Classique as well as elegant wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
