Lower Duivenhoks River is a ward within the Cape South Coast of the Wine of Origin system (not Swellendam), positioned directly under the regional level rather than within a district. Located near the southern coastline, the area is influenced by maritime conditions that moderate temperatures and extend the growing season. The ward remains lightly planted, producing small volumes of wine that reflect its cool climate setting.
