Altenberg de Bergheim is a steep, south-facing Grand Cru site located above the town of Bergheim, known for its complex marl-limestone soils and long growing season. The vineyard has a historic reputation for producing structured, ageworthy blends dominated by Riesling, supported by Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris. Its wines often show depth, salinity, and finely integrated power, evolving gracefully over time.
