Geisberg is a small, southeast-facing Grand Cru vineyard nestled above the town of Ribeauvillé, sharing a hillside with the neighbouring Grand Cru Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé. Its soils are composed of limestone and marl over sandstone, and the vineyard benefits from excellent drainage and a long growing season. Geisberg is especially well known for Riesling, which here shows firm structure, vivid acidity, and a mineral-driven profile with citrus and herbal detail that rewards cellaring.
