Muenchberg wines

Muenchberg is a distinctive Grand Cru vineyard nestled in a protected, south-facing amphitheatre near the village of Nothalten, with rare soils composed of volcanic sandstone, a fairly unusual combination in Alsace. This singular terroir yields complex, ageworthy Riesling with pronounced minerality, smoky depth, and vibrant acidity. Wines from Muenchberg are structured and often restrained in youth, developing layered citrus, herbal, and flinty notes with time in bottle.
