Sonnenglanz is a gently sloping, south to southeast-facing Grand Cru vineyard located near the village of Beblenheim, with deep, calcareous marl-limestone soils and a warm, sheltered microclimate. The site is particularly well suited to Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris, which here develop richness, exotic aromatics, and generous texture balanced by underlying freshness. Sonnenglanz wines are expressive and opulent, often showing honeyed fruit, floral spice, and the structure to age gracefully.
