Sporen wines

Sporen is a sheltered, south to southeast-facing Grand Cru vineyard nestled just outside the village of Riquewihr, with deep clay and marl-limestone soils that retain warmth and moisture. It is especially renowned for Gewurztraminer, which here yields powerful, aromatic wines with notes of rose petal, lychee, and exotic spice, supported by structure and ageing potential. Sporen wines are rich and expressive, yet often show surprising balance and freshness for their depth and intensity.
