Steinert is a high-altitude, south to southeast-facing Grand Cru vineyard located above the village of Pfaffenheim, characterised by very stony limestone soils that provide excellent drainage and reflect heat. This rocky terroir favours Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer, yielding wines with firm structure, vibrant acidity, and a pronounced mineral backbone. Steinert wines are typically powerful yet precise, with a capacity to age slowly and reveal layered, site-driven complexity over time.
