Steingrubler is a sheltered, east to southeast-facing Grand Cru vineyard located above the village of Wettolsheim, with marl and limestone soils that offer a balanced mix of water retention and drainage. The site performs especially well with Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Riesling, producing wines that are full-bodied and aromatic, yet supported by structure and freshness. Steingrubler wines often show notes of ripe stone fruit, spice, and floral lift, with the ability to age gracefully while maintaining their expressive character.
