Sonnenberg is a 20 hectare Grosse Lage vineyard site in the village of Bad Neuenahr in the Ahr Valley. Located at 130-180m, it is made up of grewacke, sandstone loam and slate. South facing, and well ventilated, it tends to produce fuller, richer wines that some of the village's other sites. Around half a dozen producers own parcels here.
Founded by Paul Caputo, Vinorandum is the place to discover more about fine wines from all around the world, as well as wine-growing countries, regions, appellations and producers.
