‘Libero’ is produced from Falanghina Beneventana grown around the town of Torrecuso in Campania. A small portion (between 10% and 20%) is fermented in barrique and then matured for six months in barrique, while the rest stays in stainless steel. It is typically a full-bodied expression of the variety and is capable of ageing for many years.
