Zanna is named after its vineyard located 287 metres up in the village of Controguerra, along the hills to the right of the Tronto river that gradually descends towards the Adriatic sea, with a gentle climate characterised by natural fresh ventilation. Only produced in the best years, grapes are generally kept on their stems, crushed and left to ferment in stainless steel at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine stays in Slavonian oak barrels (approx. 25 hl each) where it ages for 24-26 months.
