Sicilia DOC "Vigna di Gabri" by Donnafugata

Donnafugata’s Vigna di Gabri is a Sicilian white wine primarily crafted from Ansonica, with smaller amounts of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, and Catarratto. The grapes are grown in Contessa Entellina, where the Mediterranean climate and limestone-rich soils enhance the wine’s minerality and acidity. Vigna di Gabri presents floral and citrus aromas, with notes of peach and subtle herbal undertones. This wine is named after Gabriella Rallo, one of Donnafugata’s founders, reflecting the winery’s focus on blending indigenous and international grape varieties to produce wines that showcase the characteristics of Sicilian terroir.
