Description

First vintage of Oreno was in 1999 with the intention of creating a Bordeaux blend in Tuscany. Mature vineyards were grafted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The wine is named after the local stream, Oreno, that runs through the estate’s rich clay parcels, precisely where the Merlot is planted. The only vintage to be skipped was 2002.
