Barolo DOCG Monvigliero by G B Burlotto

Burlotto's Barolo from the Monvigliero MGA is one of Italy's great wines. The vineyard is one of the most northern in the Barolo appellation, in the village of Verduno, close to the River Tanaro. Burlotto's parcel of Monvigliero is made up of fossilised marl and sand, and is located in the centre of the amphitheatre shaped hill. Southern exposure at an altitude of 300m.
