Vajra’s Bricco delle Viole is one of the highest and coolest vineyard sites in the Barolo DOCG, located in the commune of Barolo itself. Sitting at elevations up to 480 meters, it benefits from cooler temperatures and extended hang time, which contribute to its signature elegance, floral aromatics, and precise structure. The soils here are predominantly Tortonian marl, lending the wine a lifted, mineral-driven profile that contrasts with the broader, more muscular styles found in neighboring crus.
