The Yarra Valley covers around 2500 hectares to the north east of Melbourne. It produces a range of different wine styles primarily due to the difference in altitudes that impact on the area. Simplistically though, the lower Yarra valley enjoyers a warmer microclimate than the higher vineyards planted in the south east.
