Txacolí de Álava is produced in the province of Álava. It is known as Arabako Txakolina in Basque and this is what may be seen on the label. Established in 2001, its Txacolí Vineyards are located in the north of the province and utilise the white varieties of Hondarribi Zuri, Gross Manseng, Petit Manseng and Petit Corbu. Hondarribi Beltza is also used for the small of amount of red wine produced. Established in 200, it is the youngest of all the Basque DOs.
