Eastern Cape WO

The Wine of Origin geographical unit Eastern Cape represents one of the country’s smaller and less developed wine areas. Viticulture here is limited but gradually expanding, with vineyards benefiting from cooler coastal influences along parts of the province. Although production remains modest, the region reflects the gradual spread of winemaking beyond the traditional heartland of the Western Cape.
