Darling

The hilly district of Darling find itself to the north of Cape Town and is characterised by its proximity to South Africa’s west coast. As such its relatively cooler climate can be detected in the wines, particularly with Sauvignon Blanc but also Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz. There are some fascinating wines to be found in the Groenekloof ward.
