Malokarpatská is better translated as the Lesser Carpathian region and is located in the south west of Slovakia. It is known for its white wines and predominantly cultivates Veltlínske Zelené (better known as Grüner Veltliner) as well as Müller-Thurgau and Rizling vlašský (Welschriesling).
