Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil is home to fresh red wines from Cabernet Franc. Located in Touraine, on the upper terrace of the Loire’s right bank, there are around 1100 hectares planted. Small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon are also permitted although it's rarely utilised.
