Reuilly is a white wine appellation in the central area of the Loire Valley. Predominantly clay soils tend to give a rich and weighty Sauvignon Blanc. Some red wine is also produced from Pinot Noir. Reuilly is often overlooked in favour of its more illustrious neighbours of Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé, but the area is home to some excellent value wines.
