Quarts de Chaume AOC

Quarts de Chaume is a prestigious appellation for Chenin Blanc located in the Anjou subzone of the Loire Valley. It takes its name from an historic tradition in which farmers were required to pay one quarter of their harvests to the local Seigneur. The appellation falls within the larger Coteaux-du-Layon territory.
