Ihringen

The small town of Ihringen lies just to the west of the city of Freiburg and close to the Kaiserstuhl, a range of hills of volcanic origin located a few miles away. This is considered one of the warmest places in Germany and therefore one of the most important viticultural area. The wine growing area includes important VDP Grosse Lage such as Winklerberg hinter Winklen.
