Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley WO

Upper Hemel en Aarde Valley is a ward within the Walker Bay of the Cape South Coast under the Wine of Origin system. Located further inland from Hermanus, the ward sits at higher elevations where cooler temperatures and ocean breezes extend the growing season. These conditions have made the area particularly well suited to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, producing wines known for precision, freshness and balance.
