Chorey-lès-Beaune AOC

Chorey les Beaune AOC is a small appellation located on the flat land just east of Beaune and Savigny les Beaune, producing mainly red wines from Pinot Noir, with a small amount of Chardonnay. The soils here are deeper and more alluvial than those found on the nearby slopes, resulting in wines that are lighter in body, with soft tannins, bright red fruit, and a supple, accessible character. While Chorey les Beaune does not have any Premier Cru vineyards, it offers approachable, early-drinking Burgundy with a clear sense of place and excellent value.
