Chambertin is perhaps the most famous of Burgundy’s Grand Cru sites, gaining such recognition that the mayor of Gevrey changed his village’s name to better reflect its illustrious associations. Located in the north of the Côte de Nuits, Chambertin grows only Pinot Noir.
