Marselan

Marselan is a 1961 red grape cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. It produces full bodied red wines.

Parents: Grenache

Marselan

Marselan could well have its moment in the coming years. There are some high profile investments in various wine regions around the world. Domaines de Barons de Rothschild have a significant planting at their Domaine de Long Dai estate in China. There are experimental plantings in California, driven by the motivation to find cheaper alternatives to Cabernet Sauvignon.
