Gamay del Trasimeno

Gamay del Trasimeno is a red grape variety found around the Trasimeno area of Umbria. Despite its name it has no connection to the French Gamay Noir, but instead is a biotype of Cannonau in Sardinia and Tai Rosso in the Veneto.
