2021 was a tough year. For many, the release of the 2022s couldn’t come quick enough and comparatively are a joy to taste. Yet, 2021 will yield some great wines. The work lies in sifting through them and pulling out those that have the potential to keep both their fruit and structure together over the long term. Paul Caputo travelled to Bordeaux to attend Millesima’s panoramic tasting, a window into the wines a year on from their en primeur showing.
