Uva Rara

Uva Rara is a red grape variety grown in various parts of Lombardy. It is utilised most in the Oltrepò Pavese DOC. Few producers trust it by itself and often blend it with Barbera. In Alto Piemonte it supports Nebbiolo, or Spanna as it’s known there, in the Lessona DOC.
