Ștefan Vodă is located in the South East of Moldova where a moderate continental climate influenced by both the Black Sea and Dniester River gives rich red blends from Cabernet Sauvignon, Saperavi and Merlot. The region is home to the historic Vinaria Purcari - founded in 1827.
Valul lui Traian is in the south of Moldova and home to the interesting, but rare Alb de Onițcani. Novak Winery is the key producer here and has vines in the three important subzones of Comrat, Chebalakchia and Tartaul.
